Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

If i have calculated the total Mandays for a particular scope of work, how can i calculate the no. of workers required per day?

This will be use for manpower resourcing in P6.

Thanks in advance...

Reul camaquin

sir you just have to divide the mandays by total days that activity is taking to get no. of workers.

To further clarify,

I have computed the Mandays to complete a particular scope, what i wanted to know is how will i get the no. of worker on a daily basis?

Will i multiply or devide the production rate to 8 (on an 8 hrs daily sched)?

Thanks.

Hi Ruel,

If the Total Man-days have already been allocated to your project then simply adjust your timescale into days and show the Resource Usage Profile. But make sure that your Unit of Time is in Day.

You can as well, export your Man-days into Excel and calculate it there.
