(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear Sir,

I am very much new to primavera , so pls. help me.

I have a question on update of progress . consider following example.

Activity duration start date finish date resource

A1 10days 9/6/09 18/6/09 R1@8hr/day (1no. for 10days)

Now my questions are :-

If I want to update progress on 11/6/09 manually and came to know that A1 activity has correctly started on 9/6/09 but today it is just 20% complete ? What steps should I do to feed these details?

2) After feeding details , I already know that I am lagging behind in progress and as per plan 30% work is to be completed. What can I do to complete the work on right time in primavera?

3) Will I have to reschedule as per new changes and how can I compare new one with old one?

4) what happens of resource assign to this activity ?

Dear all,


Pls. help me.My simple question is that on a particular day my plan progress is 30% of total but on actual i find out that it is just 20% then how should or steps to apply actuals and in case of lag in reality , what can i do to make up as per plan?
