Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

P6 performance in Laptop or Notebook

Has anyone tried to use P6 in laptop? How is the performance?

I was using P6.2 in a laptop with 2gb ram and a processor with 2mb for one year, the project was with 4000 activities and it work normally. It wasn’t super fast but did the work very well.

 

Now I have to ask for another laptop and at lest I´m going to ask with that.

I have P6 6.0 on my laptop with 4Gb and it works like a charm. Meanwhile I run P6 6.2 on a VM with 1Gb and that runs fine too.
