Dear All
I am much worried because of the column width in P6/5 for Activity ID and the bands color vertical bars on left side. In P3 it was pretty easy to reduce their width but in P6 it covers half of the page. Is there a way to reduce them, please help

Make a field other than Activity ID the first column that gets displayed (pick an unused User defined field for instance). Make the Activity ID the second column you display. Then simply drag the first column to be as narrow as you like, it will even remove the hierarchial ordering of your grouping bars if you want.

i believe it happens because you got a high level schedule (level 3,4, 5,...) the indent goes with the WBS levels, go to WBS view and edit the levels, or you can make a level one schedule.

Remove the indent on the group and sort.

Thanks Prem.It helped a lot but still wanna know if possible to make all Activity IDs vertically aligned. I tried to centered them in columns but at different WBS level they are different (within one level they are aligned but for two or three levels they follow the WBS pattern. I hope you got my point of view.

In P6, go to group and sorting there is option to shrink vertical grouping bands
