Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I installed the software (PRIMAVERA CONTRACTOR 2000) on my laptop (WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION SP1) and everything was ok during the installation, but not yet i try to run the software an error occours saying:

Exception EprmDBSQLExecutionFailure in module PCon.exe at 0010CB68. PRM DBAccess Error: SQL Server Error: The statement has been terminated. The conversion of a char data type to a datetime data type resulted in out-of-range datetime value.

I ask you a solution for this problem that doesn’t let me to use this software.

In my answer I asked you if you started the service for MSDE/MS-SQL. Since you didn’t reply, I assumed it was ok.

Which Version of MS-SQL do you use, or is it MSDE installed by the Primavera installation?
