Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Activity usage spreadsheet

Hi guys,

Do any one how i can transfer activity usage spreadsheet items to excel? Lets say i need following in my excel.

1.resource name and its associated activity
2.Bugeted units
3.Planned start and finish of resource
4.start and finsih of activity

I find the easiest way to get info into excel is using a report. They’re very useful once you figure out how to set them up.

It may be easier to use the resource assignments, which is very similar to the activity usage spreadsheet. Once you have all the columns etc in you layout, you can simply copy and paste the resource assignments. I don’t think this option is available in the activity usage spreadsheet. The other option is to create a report and output it to a csv file and open with excel.
