Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Has anyone done this? If so, how did you accomplish this using P3 and meet the requirement?

Dear James,

The critical path is a result of your modeling. You can have as many as you want!

The scheduling tool uses CPM. It does not matter what type of software you are using.

List the activitie, connect them, put the resources and durations as per your requirements and you will get what you want.

With kind regards,

Samer

I suppose you have two delivery milestones in your contract and that by using “Finish not Latter Than” Constraints you can create the two critical paths.

Eventually this might create negative float and the implications that go with the use of this aberrant functionality.

Another way to create multiple critical paths in P3 is by setting open ends as critical.
