Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I assume you are refering to activity ID codes,

These are created in Data>Activity Codes, then select the "Activity ID" tab.

You then define codes based on the structure of your activity ID. by default the first two characters are for your sub-project ID, you might then define one for each separable portion and then another for the phase.

The activity ID activity codes are not assigned to activities like conventional activity codes, but p3 derives them from the makeup of your activity ID.

EG: activity id AA1C0010 could be Subproject AA, Separable portion 1, Construction phase, activity 10.
