Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi...

Am using P3.1 and I have liknked all the activities in a project and when I was scheduling (Pressing F9), got a report as schedule termiated..loop detected...

since there are lot of activities, i cudnt able to find the link defect of particular activity...

can anyone suggest, how to find / generate a report showing the defect link / activty..

Don’t use F9 for scheduling, use the Icon with the red clock.

This will give you the report

thanks for ur immediate response...

but when am scheduling it, am not getting detailed report, just its showing scheduling terminated and loops detected...

I don kno, whther any installation file wud be missing????

Heyy...

After scheduling i think you got a report of the loops detected...Actually loops are traced when activities are linked incorrect..i.e example of a loop is A-B-C-D-A..just go to the activity A and check its predecessor or successor and make correction..ur schedule shall be successful.
