Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Afternoon all

Is there a way to retain an activity’s baseline even though the job itself has been cancelled and won’t be completed?

I don’t want to remove the job from the plan as I need to show that it couldn’t be done due to the overrunning of another activity.

Many thanks

Laura,

You can create an activity code for deleted activities and assign it to that job. Then you can select the activity code in your filter specifications so it doesn’t show. You can also use log records for further notes. I hope this makes sense...Can’t think of anything better unless someone else does..

Cheers
