(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi all

I was just looking for the sample example given in P3. HWY1, ( highway widening ) then I remarked all equipment resources use units as day ?

Usually we use hours for equipment as sometimes we work more then 8 hours (overtime) ?
Any idea ?

Hi alex

Of course it our fault then, we pay him for 8 hours, as we plan to use equipment like truck for 8 hours per day, but if we work for 14 hours we pay him consequently

It is normal where you have industrial states. For day to day maintenance and specially during the shutdowns. Lot of equipemnt supply you the equipmemnt on hour rate + mob & demob cost. But in this case the rate is abvous high teh daily/weekly/monthly bases.

so if you only use the equipment for 2 hrs do you pay for 2hrs or the whole day??

I believe that it all has to do with money. You pay for labor by the hour but you rent equipment by the day.
