Project Engineer

1. Responsible in planning, scheduling and preparation of projects materials.

2. Establish and develop standard work procedures for all project activities. (i.e. work breakdown structure, method statement, Site Specific Procedure)

3. Responsible on the cost control and profitability for Civil scope.

4. Responsible to manage all CIVIL project issues:

  1. To attend coordination meeting with Client, Consultant and Main Contractors
  2. To prepare weekly and monthly report
  3. To coordinate and submit necessary construction drawing
  4. To prepare and submit method of statement
  5. To ensure satisfactory result (Test On Completion)
  6. Performance Test
  7. To study work sequence for each scope
  8. To establish As Built Drawing
  9. To submit material approval 

5. Liaise with the client’s representative at Section, Region and Local Authorities on all matters pertaining to the execution of the project works as and when required.

6. Responsible for all quality control on the project execution and compliance to all company policies and procedure.

7. Responsible on the preparing supporting document for claim purposes and payment to the sub-contractor.

8. To comply and implement the OSHA requirement

9. To undertake any other related duties, task and responsibilities as assigned, instructed and directed by superior.

Planner

1. Planning stage

  1. Cooperate with other planners from main work contractor and master contractor to establish the viable work program for 4th lane widening project.
  2. Collaborating with site managers, surveyors, engineers, site workers and other professionals to merge between given construction drawing, scope of work and related job requirement into /more schedule, identify required work force, equipment and to be procured materials by category, calculate work durations and weight percentages, updated created plans and create project performance charts.

2.Implementation stage

  1. To monitor the progress of work and transfer general work duty into readable figures and percentages.
  2. To support assigned management team and related personal with necessary information to ensure meeting clients expectation.
  3. To create solutions to overcome project obstacles.
  4. To prepare and submit various required progress reports.

3. Closing stage

  1. To assess the overall performance of the project.
