Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

During Precommissioning one team has to do loop checks in 20 commissioning systems, which are partly related to each other. The systems contain 1 up to 250 loops. The team is able to handle 40 loops a day. How can I manage P3 to calculate the early start of the loopchecking per systemn respec. the sequence of the systems to be checked?

Hi Achim

I WOuld Suggest you go to the Following Method.

1) Open a P3 Schedule (in Hours)
2) Create the 20 Systems as Activity
3) Calcultate the activity Durations

Example assume System has 80 loops and you said 40 loops a Day (Assume 8 working hours) This mean activty duration is 16 hrs

Do the system Inter Logic

Assign a Resource "Loops" BQ (Number of loops / Systems)

Press level (Assign the resource Loops) Make Normal & Max lvl 5 (40 loops /8 Hours)
