P3 can schedule in hours. When you start a new project, select hours next to planning unit.

There is a P3 version called "Finest Hour", This software allows you to schedule in Hours. I dont know if it is still available in the market. We used this software when it was still in DOS version. You can always inquire with Primavera.

Hi, Kris.
It’s not too much difference when you’re working with hour based calendar. You’ll find an extra scale in calendar definition form - hours. Of course now you’ll deal with working time for each day. By default P3 assumes that each working day is starting at 12:00 AM and ending at 11:59 PM. So you’ve to change this extra night shift standard calendar according to you scenario.
Best regards,
Andrew
