Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

I work in an Engineering company. I have created a Level 3 schedule in P3 with the engineering deliverables (drawings)as my activities. I created in P3 a custom data for the drawing nos. (20 characters). I am also using our company software "InControl". My question is, can you create an activity code in InControl that corresponds to P3 Activity Id (10 characters)? I can then export these data to P3 to update my schedule progress and actual dates. Appreciate if you can help me sort out my problem.

I do not know what You can do with InControl, but in the case You are able to put with coding (that will reflect the P3 ID), using RA engine You can update automatically Your P3 schedule.
