Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Can anybody give advise on my doubt
While preparing a revised schedule will there be a change for activities having actual start (In progress activity ) and constraints ?

Thanks in advance

Manoj

Dear Manoj,

If things didn’t change, then the Constraint should stay as is.

The basic concept is to keep the schedule current to the progress ongoing at site abiding by the Conditions of Contract.

With kind regards,

In the case of revised schedule with out change in recourse or sequence – for Inprogress activities do we need to keep start constraint in the revised schedule ?

Dear Manoj,

Your schedule should represent your actual plan. If your plan didn’t change and you are just late, then you input the late dates of completion.

On the other hand, if you are changing the executing of the job; increasing resources, or some other constraint is now available, then you will update your Program of Works to reflect the actual conditions.

If you can be more specific, we can provide you with a more specific answer.

With kind regards,

Samer
