Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

Hiii All...

Please someone suggest how to filter out all activities which having over allocation of resources for any proejct in Primavera P6?

please reply everybody.

He already knows the resource that is over loaded the question was how to find the activities that are comtribiting to the overloading.

as your jpg shows you can select view show on bottom resource usage profile and see which activities are in the time frame which is contributing to the overallocation

then you can assign a code to these activities then you can filter them out.

Hi Galav

You can identify the overloaded activities by filtering on the resource that is overloaded. You could add more resources, work additional hours or level the resources. Use the link below to see an example.

you can identify which activities contribute to the overallocation of the resource.

just look at the timeframe of the activities during the period of overallocation. 

You can select view show on bottom resource usage profile and see whihc activities are in the time frame which is inducated as being overallocated.

then you can assign a code to these activities.
