Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

How do I force the log off of users who no longer require their initial session open?  How do look at the settings so I can see what P6 is automatically supposed to do?

All help appreciated.

Regards, Kylee.

You need a P6/EPPM System Administrator software like PROJECT WATCH.  I displays all significant activity in the Oracle/Primavera system and produces user activity reports.  In addition, one of the minor functions is forcing user logoff for any user.  You can read more at http://scheduleanalyzer.com/pwatch_brochure.htm.  Good luck!

Hi Kylee

Are you essentially looking for how to kick a user off the programme (back to the login screen)?

If using standalone so this is done using an instruction to the database, and is a little more complex.

If using web access the "time-out" settings can be changed in the Admin Console.
