Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

is there a way to copy tasks with links.?

Hi all ,

Is there a way , by which we can copy tasks with links in one project to another .

To make it more clear. I have 12 projects in which after one major tasks or you can say mile stone , subsequent tasks are similar in all projects. Problem being these tasks have some lead / lag and also parallel status with mile stone or among themselves. To make it more standard and convincing for client , i want to keep relationships and durations intact in all projects.

But after first project , i have to go back to previous project and check the relationship , lead / lag time and then enter in next project , which is very laborious and time consuming.

So is there a way where i only bring my project till mile stone task and then could copy from previous projects task , relationship , duration and link it to mile stone task in present project.

Eagerly waiting for answers.

Thanks

regards

vinod

Just select the rows you want to copy by clicking and dragging on the row numbers, right click and select ’copy task’ and then paste the activities where you want them
