Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Morning all,

Just trying to do a very basic planned vs actual percent complete S-Curve.

Any idea how it's done?

I just want to show the variations between the two.

Kind regards.

I don't want  to show any cost allocation etc, just a basic planned % complete vs actual % complete line over the project duration.

Hi Ryan

This is too big a topic for exchange here.

Go to Help and search on Histograms.

Select "Introduction to Histograms" and start from there.

Best regards

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your response, but I'm struggling a little here.

Any chance you can help me with a walkthrough of what I'm meant to do?

This is the first histogram I've ever done and haven't a clue...

Kind regards,

Ryan

Hi Ryan

Asta software will do this for you.

Create a histogram with the selected data.

Right click the histogram and select S-Curve - the graph will be created in Excell.

Best regards
