Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hy guys,

is there a possibility to creat network or block diagram in Asta PP? It is in MS Project and Primavera, but have found only Histogram in Asta. And would it be possible to bring it over to Visio?

Thank You

Karina

Hi Karina,

Re network/block diagrams - there is no standard function for this in Asta.  Creating tasks and logic links is so easy to do by just drawing straight onto the Gantt Chart and tracing logic should also be straight forward.  Likewise amending the appearance of tasks.  However, some folks have asked for the more traditional network diagram views so we are developing this as a macro addon to the product.

Indeed, there used to be one in years gone past ("Powernet") but we had previously dropped support for it.  We're now updating it and re-releasing it.  A version will be ready for our beta-testers in December with public release following that, based on their feedback.

Cheers,

Ben @ Asta

Hi Karina,

There are many training videos on You Tube, watch these and many of your questions will be answered.

Search for Asta training videos on youtube.

Kind regards,

Craig
