Duties:

o     Ensure Contractor’s project schedules and manpower histograms are prepared, recorded, analysed, monitored and controlled against Contract requirements.
o     Monitor, control and report current and forecast progress against approved Contract schedules to enable project and corporate management to ensure that final project turnover dates are within the approved Contract schedule.
o     Ensure sufficient familiarity with the project Contract, including shutdown and turnover requirements and to prepare, advice and support Project Engineers and Construction teams on requirements.
o     Verify site progress claimed in Contractors Monthly Progress Report and monthly invoices by sample checks.
o     Ensure progress and resources in each area are recorded correctly and that reports, internal and external, are prepared and reviewed as required in order to support the requirements of the Contract and management.
o     Carry-out analyses of trends and highlight potential problems with recommendations for remedial action – on an “Early Warning” basis. To verify, analyse and report on Contractors variations and claims for extension of time.
o     Maintain progress history for every major area of the project, in sufficient detail for use in assessment of any claims at the end of the project.

Key Projects Experience (at BRC)

Mar 2002 to November 2003
OZ2: An Engineering and Procurement Project, 418-km pipeline
Lead Planning Engineer based in Algiers engineering office.
Fully responsible for preparing contractual schedules and then the development of level (04) engineering and procurement schedule, according to company’s worldwide control system.
Coordinating with disciplines the implementation of progress monitoring procedure and project coding structure (WBS and work-packages). Also coordinate planning interface with our construction partner (COSIDER).
At the same time, Participate as a lead planning to a small project (OG1 16") developing the engineering level 3 schedule and progress procedure.
Participate in developing several proposal schedules.

UDB - BRN Project: An Engineering, Procurement and Construction Project : Dehydration Unit Gas located at Bir Rebaa North (BRN) in South of Algeria.
Planning Engineer based in Algiers engineering office.

Looping Gem 48" Project: An Engineering project: Pipeline between Hassi R’Mel and Oued Saf Saf (350 Km).

UDA - Assekaifaf Project: An Engineering, Procurement and Construction Project: Dehydration Unit Gas located at Assekaifaf in South of Algeria.
Lead Planning based in Algiers engineering office.

August 2005 to June 2006
Rhourd-Nous Development Project: An Engineering, Procurement and Construction Project (field development) located in the south of Algeria.
In charge to develop an EPC Schedule level 4, and coordinate with disciplines, expediting and construction managements.
The engineering phase is developed in B&R-C subcontractor offices located in Paris France.

August 2006 to April 2007
In-Salah Gas Modifications: A Maintenance Project (Field modifications) located in the south of Algeria.
In charge to develop an EPC Schedule level 4, and coordinate with disciplines, expediting and construction managements using Ms Project 2003.
