Planning Engineer from 2000 through 2006 & Senior Planning Engineer until 2008. In charge of Developing Work Schedules with Resource Allocation, Review of Contractor’s Programmes and Generating Spreadsheets Related to Planning, Producing Staff Deployment Schedules and Organisation Charts, Reviewing Project Specifications and Contracts, Creating Progress Reports for Several Projects, Tracking Correspondences and Archiving.

Duties
•Responsible for establishing Master Construction Schedule (Level 4) and analyzed based on critical path method showing resource loading for each activity in Primavera 6.0, including estimation of Resources (Man-hrs, Plant-hrs and Materials), Staff/Manpower/Plant
•Prepared and updated WBS for each phase of the project, Project Execution Plans, Project Management Plans
•Prepared Target milestone schedules & Equipment and Long-lead item lists.
•Prepared budgets, estimates, bids, proposals, schedules, contracts, subcontracts, and work scopes.
•Prepared detailed network diagram for projects identifying all the critical and sub-critical activities and milestones using Primavera, comprehensive Monthly Progress Report (MPR) highlighting progress percentage, milestone dates and areas of concern.
•Review the Contract documents for each Construction Package and advise the Projects Controls Manager of any deficiency,
•Review Contractors proposed site organization; Planners CVs and report to the Projects Controls Manager,
•Review and approve/ comment on the Design Schedules as submitted by the Contractor(s) and ensure the Design Schedule is in compliance with the overall project schedule,
•Review and approve/ comment on the Construction Schedules as submitted by the Contractor(s) and ensure the Construction Schedule is in compliance with the overall project schedule,
•Review and approve/ comment on the Procurement Schedules as submitted by the Contractor(s) and ensure the Procurement Schedules are in compliance and are coordinated with current construction schedules,
•Review and continuously monitor, against approved schedules, the Contractor’s major construction progress and ensure equipment and manpower are adequate or in case of any shortage report to Projects Controls Manager,
•Developed formats of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports and Trend Curves on all phases of Projects.
•Review in detail the recovery schedules as submitted by the Contractor(s) and ensure manpower and site supervision staffs are increased properly,
•Regular visits to project sites to validate whether the progress of work on site is in compliance with approved schedules, major milestones have been met and report deficiencies to Projects Controls Manager,
•Review all daily, weekly and monthly reports as submitted by Contractor and report to Projects Controls Manager any deficiency or non-compliance,
•Prepare and discuss all Extension of Time claims (EOT).
•Successfully setting-up of Progress Monitoring System including implementation of Time Impact Analysis window analysis technique,
•Effectively monitoring plant utilization for all projects and preparing Project Status Report, Time Impact Schedule / Delay Analysis, etc.
•Reviewing contracts and advising on risks, preparation of variation order and delay claims, proving and pricing of various claims,
•Review any claim involving time impact as submitted by Contractor and report his assessment to Projects Controls Manager,
•Review field design changes and Trend Notices and assess time impact, if any,
•Advise the Projects Controls Manager of any foreseen slippage of progress and corrective actions to be taken,
•Attend weekly progress meeting and monthly Executive meetings and participate in preparing the agenda,
•Assist Projects Controls Manager during preparation of Monthly Progress reports and Monthly Executive Presentations,
•Reviews the commissioning plans as submitted by Contractor and ensure its compliance with the approved construction schedule,
•Participate with PM staff in reviewing the Close Out Reports as submitted by Contractors.

Achievements
•Using the best planning techniques with assistant of "Al Akaria Plaza Commercial Center" to recover 4 months delays happened and complete the project on time and 5% under planned budget.
•Succeeded with the construction team to complete the project "Al Wassil Tower" within the planned date and budget with more than 2 million SR cost saving for the company.
•Preparing the master & detailed program and the different manpower and cash flow histograms for "Mariott Courtyard Hotel" which worth 449 Million SR.
•Preparing the master & detailed program and the different manpower and cash flow histograms for "Meridien Towers" which worth 487 Million SR.
•Succeeded with different projects teams to hand over more than 50 new constructed Facilities within time and budget planned for Supervision of Ministry of Interior Phase 4 and Phase 5 Comprehensive Development Projects.
