Working as part of the Project Management Team developing the Commissioning Programme for the Upgrader Complex which comprised a Desalting and Crude Distillation Unit, Delayed Coking Unit, Sulfur Recovery Unit, Gas Sweetening Plant, Mild Hydrocracker and Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit (project total ~$4.2 billion).

Produced Integrated and summarised programmes to system level from the more detailed programmes of Main Contractors as well as the Operating Group. Preparation of reports and presentations to Commissioning Manager and Partnership Directors.

Planning Engineer, BP, Overhauls Services - Multiple Projects

Directed and advised in the selection of a front-end package to allow BP to move from an Artemis 6000 system running on an HP mini system to a PC bases Artemis 7000 system quickly and smoothly. Then expanded this system by writing programmes and menu systems to meet the refinery specific planning and reporting needs. This system was later replaced by Primavera (P3).

While working for the Overhauls Services Branch at BP I have created, monitored and reported on plans for a wide range of maintenance and capital project works for execution during plant shutdowns.
