Corporate Scheduler & Planner, UIG, Multiple Building & Civil Construction $5M to $350M

START Date:
January, 2016

I am a corporate scheduler for a company in North Carolina. I have been using the P6 program for 6 years now, but do not yet have the knowledge i feel i should, and have alot to learn. The 2 previous companies i have worked for, never had a master scheduler to help teach me, nor did they track any type of expenses, load resources as it should be done or use the report functions. I'm going to need lots of help.  :)

I have spent my career gaining experience in various aspects of Project Controls with a primary focus in Scheduling and Earned Value Management. I have my primary training in Primavera Project Planner (P6), as well as the full Microsoft Office Suite. In my experience in Project Controls, I have also gained experience with Acumen Fuse, a schedule analytics and forensic schedule analysis software. Through using this software and other desktop tools I have been able to develop the necessary skills to be able to create detailed schedule reports for the Client and upper management.

I graduated with a finance degree and masters in building construction. Your assumption that I look at the numbers is correct. Whether I was on an industrial construction project or in the position I am now the numbers never lie. I am able to work efficiently in P6, MS Project, Excel (currently learning Visual Basic), BIM and hoping to get into the 4d Scheduling realm. Controls is means of helping predict/learn from the past and apply it in the future.
