Moved to president of the company. Spent these 8 years developing a method for training superintendents to build an approvable, accurate schedule that would defend their company but also be a tool for the project. Continued the conversion of all manual scheduling systems onto computerized ones. Sped up updating operations thru inport/export utilities. Developed programs to identify changes beteween subsequent schedules.

Began draftiing CPM networks by hand, entering them onto data cards for running the various reports at an IBM mainframe computer facility. Graduated to developing my own schedules by turning the drawings, reading the specifications and making preliminary schedules for sub and genreral contract review. By the late 80's I was ready for a different schedule development model.
