Combined cycle plant of 90 MW comprising two gas turbine generators Hitachi of 30 MW and a steam turbine Hitachi of 30 MW. Duties involved analysis of contractors planning and manpower estimates, producing integrated plan, progress reporting, interfacing construction and commissioning activities.

Started work with Filippo Fochi Energia in Italy as a Junior Planner & Cost Controller; power generation, seeing my technical background from the Navy working with steam generators and steam/gas turbines it was a well suited start to my carreer.

These first experiences in the planning world were so good, it created very strong foundations for all the years to come to build upon. We were already doing earned value back then, don't think it's some new concept.
