• Experience: engineering, design and construction of hydroelectric, riverworks, marine, commercial and residential projects.
• Project management: systems, software, social and environmental projects, claims, audits and reviews.
• Responsibilities: Contractor, Engineer, Developer, and Corporate Executive.
• Achievements: Joined the Project Management Institute in 1974, Founding President of Canadian West Coast Chapter in 1979, Chair of first PMBOK document in 1986, President of PMI (international) in 1987 and Chairman in 1988, author of books, papers and articles, owner of http://www.maxwideman.com, launched the Wideman Education Foundation (WEF), a (Canadian registered) charity dedicated to promoting project management skills among high school and undergraduate students.
