Job Profile – Key Roles & Responsibilities

 

 

 

·Defining and identifying Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and understanding the scope of work and scope of services in the Contract.

 

·Responsible for Supervising Planners and Technicians assigned to Projects.

 

·Produce different levels of schedules with a detailed schedule basis document with Project management support, Engineering management and Lead Engineers, resource load schedules with effort hour spreads and breakdowns. Proficient and understand the flow of engineering to support Construction needs. Responsible in developing Flow charts for communicating the work process depicted in the schedule.

 

·Develop progress and performance measurement systems for Engineering, Vendor’s and Construction. Responsible for calculating (EV) Earned Value and (PF) Performance Factor’s on SPI (Schedule Performance Index) and CPI (Cost Performance Index). Produce 3 part S-Curves & histograms.

 

·Develop and support coding structures within Primavera to create various filters/layouts for easier and understandable reporting and communication to the Client and the Project team.

 

·Well experienced in using NEC PSS & ECC Contracting options with the various options for dealing with Contractors or Consultants. Fully understand and ensure the implementation of best recommended industry practises AACEI on all projects.

 

·Responsible for input to Monthly reports to Clients and management team, support the weekly flash reports.

 

·Supervise and ensure schedule updates with narratives, 3 part curves, recovery plans, mitigation exercises, milestone tracking, and progress measurement and rebase line exercises are completed at the required committed timelines.

 

·Perform risk analysis with Pertmaster and probability cases for all proposal work in the office and projects which are in early development.

 

·Assessing Contractor’s Bid quotes and work closely with the Contracts and Procurement departments with the development of Contracts and Purchase Orders. Assessing and negotiating Purchase orders with Vendor’s for timeous required at site dates of materials and equipment to support the construction flow and sequencing.

 

·Supporting proposals and assist planners with setting up of schedules and progress measurement as per company procedures and best practises.

 

·Currently using the following tools to support work processes –

 

·Primavera 3, Primavera 6 version 7/8, Primavera Risk Analysis (SRA), Claimdigger, Milestone Professional 2010, Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Milemarker, EZ Trac (Engineering & Construction tracking tools with weighted milestones pre defined with Client) Access 2003 based , Visio 2007 , WBS chart pro and Microsoft project 2003.
