Global Supply Network Division PMO

Joined the newly formed PMO team after gaining more than one year of experience as project coordinator to support project managers and enforcing GSND PMO processes and policies across all projects and ensuring all deliverables for supported projects are delivered in a timely manner by managing project schedules, scope, risks and issues.

Main Achievements                                                                                                              

·        Provided support to project managers and teams simultaneously by creating fully networked project schedules by breaking down deliverables into manageable tasks.

·        Utilized project fast tracking and crashing techniques for compressing the developed schedules which helped teams in creating schedules which met key stakeholder requirements.

·        Identified and suggested changes in the network diagram which helped teams deliver key milestones and deliverables ahead of target dates.

·        Analyzed the developed project schedules using critical path method to identify primary, secondary and tertiary critical paths and to calculate risk on project schedule.

·        Led weekly status update meetings for all supported projects to obtain actual work performed by the team.

·        Performed actual vs. baseline analysis to calculate project progress and to identify variance which helped project managers make proactive decisions to avoid any negative impact and delays to key milestones and deliverables.

·        Served as subject matter expert in developing new status update reports, update processes and reporting cadence which helped stakeholders understand the reports by providing similar reports for all projects.

·        Developed standard project schedule templates for deployment and roll out projects to be used by other teams and managers which helped minimize planning time.

·        Created and published various reports including two week look ahead, critical path and near critical path reports which help project managers identify key activities that needs to be focused on each week.

·        Led scope management sessions and analyzed change requests to determine its impact on project schedule, cost and resources and escalated the same for approval from stakeholders.
