     SC SIMontaggi SRL – Industrial Construction     SC SIMontaggi SRL is the Romanian subsidiary of SIM SPA Italy company. SIM SPA Italy is a privately owned mechanical construction company, specialized in the fabrication and erection of piping, structural steel, tanks and installation of rotating / static equipment and associated hoisting activities.

  

 International turnkey projects participation for Oil and Gas Industry::

- CCGT Moerdjik 2 Power Plant Project – TECNICAS REUNIDAS, GE, CBI LUMMUS & ESSENT – The Netherlands                (Total Contract Amount;   € 10.mil),

- Above Ground Gas Processing Facility Prj   -TECHNIP GERMANY GmbH - AMEC & EKB / VIKING Gr – Germany   (Total Contract Amount:   € 20 mil)

- New Hydrogen Plant & New Hydro Cracker Unit - HEURTEY PETROCHEM & HELLENIC PETROLEUM - Greece   (Total Contract Amount:   € 12, 3 mil)

- New Hydro Cracker Complex  - CBI LUMMUS & INA RIJEKA REFINERY – Italy  (Total Contract Amount:   € 5 mil)

- Geel PTA 2/3 Expansion Project- TECHNIP ITALY & BP PETROCHEMICAL PLANT - Belgium, ( Total Contract Amount:   € 30 mil).

 As a project engineer, I was responsible for providing project engineering and cost control support to the staff for different company’s projects.

    I was in charge on:

- Management of contract invoicing, contract/project milestones and payment status database,

- cost control, balance and administration of subcontractors payment status database,

- maintaining a Cost Engineering Database with necessary documentation and information to allow quality benchmarking of the cost controlling, ensured proper data entering, maintaining and updating,

- ensuring that appropriate cost controlling and controlling tools and methodologies are available to provide accurate cost and estimates for all components in the project - WBS (Work Breakdown Structure ),

- ensuring that necessary cost controlling standards, procedures and work instructions are established, fully updated, maintained and applied,

- ensuring that necessary piping standards, procedures and work instructions are established, fully updated, maintained and applied,

- collecting data and managing day by day the bill of quantities,

- cost control for extra work and variation orders,

- accounting calculation of piping spools, piping supports & structural steel requirements,

- control and manage the databases of P&ID & isometric drawings, piping BOM & MTO, Golden Weld, etc,

- Control and manage the database of mechanical works progress ( prefabrication and erection ) - CPM(S),,

- Database management and reporting of project manpower and man-hour status,

- Complex data analyzing to identify any anomalies, focused on details with the implementation of corrective actions,

- assisted senior cost engineers and project control engineers, cost control manager in creation of specific reports ( weekly reports, monthly reports, etc ) and cost control analysis,

- maintaining a good communication level with all company’s departments, subcontractors and customers in a professional manner,

To ensure the operability and technical performances in line with the project targets and deadlines

- successful in the reach of the projects deadlines,

- contribution to work quality improvement,
