This is my first Oil & Gas experience which is quite challenging and exciting as well. Initially, I was hired as Planning Engineer for contracted projects. After few months, my position was changed to Planning & Estimation Engineer. I played a major role for this medium-sized company in the following areas: 
  • Overall Planning and Scheduling for tenders and contracted projects.
  • Detailed Quantity Surveying for tenders and contracted projects.
  • Project Controls & Monitoring.
  • Weekly Progress Reports (Earned Value Method)
  • Site Visits for field verification.
  • Lifting Plans for heavy lifting activities.
  • Weld Mapping on ISO Drawings for Piping Works.
  • AutoCAD detailing (Civil & Structural Steel Works)
  • Preparation of Technical Bids.
  • Power Point Presentations to prospective clients.
  • I also serve as technical consultant to my colleagues in establishing company standard procedures.
