I am employed as Planning engineer on the Emirates Aluminium Smelter Project (EMAL) for Al-Futtaim Carillion who is the civil works Subcontractor on the project. He is responsible for the delivery of all planning requirements for the Carbon Upgrade awarded. AFC’s role is to deliver the Heavy Civil Works required for the Aluminium Smelter Plant. His Responsibilities cover all the planning requirements for the project including Look Ahead, Mini Detailed Programmes, Weekly Progress Reporting.


Worked as a Planning Executive Assistant to the Emal-Potline Project (Dhs 200million) and was involved in coordination of all the ongoing Projects.
• Micro level Planning using Primavera for a Carbon Area ARS & BOP Project.
• Macro level Planning using P6 for Carbon Area ARS & BOP.
• Preparation of Quantities for Blower Room @ Potline
• Monitoring, Reviewing and Wrapping up of ARS & BOP.
• Manpower Planning for Potline Target Programme
• Preparation of Monthly, Weekly & Daily reports and indicating planned &actual progress of an activity.
• Understanding the Project Scope of work and aligning the same with companies structured WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).
• Preparation of Presentations for Monthly Review Meetings.
Preparation of Impact programme , Cause & effect Analysis, EOT Claims.






Employment History:

Key responsibilities include implementation of Business Improvement on AC-535 Burj projects, Visiting site on a regular basis to update the programme and issue forward planning materials to the site manager. I have knowledge & experience of planning software such as Microsoft project, and primavera project planner (P6) which is used on a daily basis.
