*   Working as a Planning Engineerin Planning Maintenance Department for Electrical & Instrumentation at Ras-Al Zawer

       *   Before start-up the plants I completed the following courses.

       *   ICT-011 Oracle Employee Self Service.  Date 24 oct. 2009

       *   Completion of Asset Prioritization Workshop for Ammonia Plant.  Date 13 January, 2010

       *   Completion of Asset Maintenance Task Validation Workshop.  Date  February 3, 2010

       *   Oracle Employee Self Service in Jubail Industrial City Karan Hotel.  28th of March 2010

       *   From 14 September Utilities, Ammonia & Power and Desalination Plants are on line.  and other plants   ( such as Sulphuric Acid Plant, Phosphoric Acid Plant and DAP Plant are still under commissioning.

Ghazlan Power Plant, Saudi Electricity Co., Dammam, Saudi Arabia              1983 - 2009

For the last 25 years I have worked at largest power plant in the Middle East, which comprises 8 steam turbine units with a total capacity of 4400 MW and 3 water desalination units with total capacity of 12,000 cubic meters per day.  My work assignments were both in Maintenance and Technical Services Divisions of the Plant in the following capacities:

 

¯  Maintenance Planner / Scheduler (I+C)                                                                1997 - 2009

As an Instrumentation & Controls Maintenance Planner, I am responsible for Corrective, Predicative and Preventive Maintenance of I+C equipment from the start of the electronic work order (in CMMS) until the completion for the work and its documentation.  The job includes following activities:

*          Receiving the on-line work order, assessment for its correctness, and review with the concerned Operations staff and Engineering staff to categorize the maintenance.

*          Review of the work scope by making site visits and discussions with concerned people.

*          Resource allocation, including parts, materials, tools & equipment, manpower, time and work duration, special arrangements such as boundary isolations, and safety requirements, etc.

*          Prioritizing of the work orders based on the criticality, system redundancy, availability of resources, and safety/hazard issues.

*          Ordering of the required parts and materials through the company warehouse.  If not available, coordination the procurement of the parts.

*          Follow-up of the work through its execution until completion, and closing of the work orders.

*          Ensuring that all data (planning, execution, man-hour & material usage, costs, etc.) are entered in the CMMS properly and on-time.

*          Maintaining the work backlog and issuing statistical reports to the concerned.

Issuing routine reports on work order statistics showing all Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

 

¯  Materials Coordinator (Instrument and Electrical)                                              1990 - 1997

As the Material Coordinator, I was in-charge of the in-Plant instrument and electrical storeroom, where I managed all parts and tools routine work in the Plant.  My responsibilities included:

*          Controlling the flow of materials received from clients, company suppliers and ensuring delivery to the projects & worksites in accordance with the company policies and procedures.

*          To receive, inspect and store materials and deliver to the worksite according to the project schedule and in relation to the project’s safety and quality policies.

*          Managing the store inventory to optimum level, setting up the min/max levels, organizing the sore according to the type and usage of stocked items.  Managing the electronic database of the inventory.

*          Communicate with outside vendors, the Company warehouse and the Plant Maintenance and Engineering Divisions on store and materials related issues.

*          Prepare technical specification, scope of work, and raising purchase request for new equipments. Also responsible to make technical evaluations for all offers from material suppliers.

*          Prepare scope of work and plan spare parts for annual turnaround maintenance.

 

¯  Sr. Instrument Technician                                                                                           1983 – 1990

As a Senior Instrument Technician, I was responsible for the maintenance of major and critical plant instrumentation.  My duties included:

*          Conducting routine PM work and planned CM work.

*          Troubleshooting of failed instruments and equipment – both in-situ and in the shop.

*          Filed repair, installation & calibration of key field instruments according to the industry standards.

*          Attending to instrument related Plant emergencies on short notices and staying on job until the problem is solved and emergency removed.

*          Training junior Saudi technicians.
