PLANNING ENGINEER, DESCON Engineering Qatar L.L.C, DOLPHIN ENERGY LIMITED / QATARGAS / QATAR PETROLEUM - ONSHORE PLANTS SHUTDOWNS & TURNAROUNDS

In Shutdowns / Turnarounds:

 

·         Currently working as Shutdown Planning Engineer with Dolphin Energy Limited for the preparation of their next annual turnaround.

·         Preparation for turnaround including Scope clarifications/finalization, Jobs lists preparation etc.

·         To prepare the complete resource loaded plan for shutdown/turnaround maintenance activities using Primavera P3 & P6 / MS project.

·         Integration of operations and field maintenance activities in Primavera to prepare a master plan.

·         Calculation of all required resources to complete the job within planned budget.

·         Calculation & ordering of required material through warehouse coordinator.

·         To prepare progress and performance reports as per schedule, manpower & quantity.

·         To perform, monitor and present project planning & scheduling functions.

·         Producing the manpower and equipment Histograms & Mobilization plans for the project and generation of corresponding progress S-Curve for the project using Primavera/MS project.

·         Preparation of method statements, job packs for individual equipment and participate in TRA (Task Risk Assessment) meetings for critical jobs.

·         Participate in promotion of HSE awareness as member of HSE group.

·         To Monitor and analyze major shutdown activities status on daily basis, and emphasize to schedule/execute critical work on priority which could have impact on timely completion of shutdown.

·         Preparation of daily progress report for the project and examining the effect of progress against the base line schedule.

·         Preparation of different kind of progress analysis reports to check the criticality of the job.

·         Planning of daily and one day forecast activities and arranging the permit for forecast activates following the permit to work system of company.

·         Direct dealing with Client and Sub-Contractors for the queries and technical issues to avoid any delays in the project and sorting out solutions to expedite the job within the scheduled time.

·         Preparation of final Project Close out report for client.

 

In Construction Projects:

 

·         Worked as Planning & Control engineer for the project.

·         Responsibilities included: Planning, Scheduling, Analysing, Costing & Estimation, Material Control, Document Control, Data control.

·         Project Budget, Costing & Profit-Loss analysis.

·         To Prepare, update & monitor Lev-III Schedule using Primavera V3.1 and set the project targets, milestones & critical path.

·         To Prepare Project Progress Measurement System & Management Information Reports.

·         Progress monitoring of all project activities going on to ensure that the project is progressing as planned & targets are being met till its completion.

·         Highlight areas of concern / opportunities and initiate resolution / improvement plans.

·         To Prepare Weekly & Monthly Look ahead programmes to present work front availability.

·         To conduct and attend progress meetings with client and subcontractors; includes preparation of presentation data for meetings / discussions.

·         To identify additional scope and work constraints as per contract SOW, prepare cost estimates and raise claims to client.

·         Preparation of extra work sheets as per new site instructions and SDMs (Site Design Modifications) during the project.
