2007 – 2009             Planning Engineer

 

Role as a planning engineer for Mott MacDonald (using P6 software) supporting bids/projects on the East London Line development and Crossrail. Providing planning support for the design works on railway; signalling, communication, permanent way, traction power and civils.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

 

  • Providing detailed cost/earned value breakdown to support bids
  • Producing client period reports to Transport for London (TfL)
  • Organising team update reports and chairing weekly team conference calls
  • Working with clients such as Network Rail on tender review and scoring
  • Meetings with clients to update and report on progress

 

Other specific responsibilities included:

 

Bid co-ordination manager for the planning function for all of the Crossrail Packages 25, guiding the bid managers through the process and supporting the production of the bids.
