This project is the reconstruction of the Whitechapel Station which is part of the new £14b Crossrail Project, providing a new rail line across greater London. The reconstruction of Whitechapel station includes:

·         design & construction of the main diaphragm wall shafts (up to 30m deep)

·         construction of new platforms for Crossrail line

·         expansion of the existing ticket hall

·         construction of new concourses linking the existing platforms to the new one

·         upgrade of the station mechanical, electrical and communication services

·         and urban realms works to the external perimeter of the station.

Key Responsibilities:

·         preparing programmes for design & construction phases based on key milestone dates for delivery

·         Ensuring that all scope elements, key phases and approval periods are captured in the programme.

·         Manage programme interfaces (especially access) with other Projects within Crossrail.

·         Progress update & reporting complete with phasing drawings, resources graphs & EV graphs.

·         Assess programme effects of Compensation Events and establishing entitlements to Extension of Time.

·         Attend meetings with all Stakeholders as required.

·         Manage, co-ordinate and mentor junior planners.
