I've worked in Planning within the Oil and Gas Industry for over 20 years now starting out as a Planning Assistant and now my first position as Planning Manager. Ive worked for various companies over the years, from major Oil Companies to Service providers where I have experienced many different outlooks to Planning, and utilised many different Planning tools along the way. This was a choice I made at an early stage as Project work really appealled to me as I was, and still am,  always seeking new challenges and personal developement. Unfortunately choosing this path has meant that I have not had support in my career developement so have been very much in charge of this myself. I have decided when I was ready to make that move from Planning asst to assistant Planner to Planner then to Senior Planner and now to Planning Manager.

I've worked on site building Platforms. I've worked in the office running Shutdowns on FPSO's and Platforms. Ive worked with Drill rigs. Ive worked on rolling maintenance programs. Ive gone into Companies and set up  Planning systems for them.

I now have a small team of 4 in a Project division and am in the process of improving the overall  Planning process. Recommnending new Planning tool and creating procedures while mentoring my collegues.
