I am a certified (since 2004) Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institue.

The majority of my experience is in the Defence sector although I also have experience in the Rail and Nuclear sectors.

I have worked in Project Management and Control for the past 20 years covering the full project lifecycle, in an evironment with tight budgets/timescales and penalties for late delivery.  Prior to working as a Project Manager, I have extensive experience in Risk Analysis and good experience in Planning (mostly MS Project at the moment), Earned Value Analysis and  Budget Control.  For several years I ran the Bids and Proposals centre for the company, coordinating the production of all the company's major bids and proposals. 

I am a Six Sigma Greenbelt so also have my eye open for continuous improvement opportunities.

I have good IT user skills, particularly Word and Excel, plus Powerpoint, Access, SAP, DOORS.
