I am a time served Sheet metalworker /welder with both City and Guilds and LCGI Degree (HND -HNC) I have a varied IT and Production/ manufacturing skill sets over a 30 + years working period.  I was employed within the aerospace and various manufacturing industries for over 15+ years and gained experience in all aspects manufacture, from design through to shop floor Production and support.

I am very much a team player and understand the importance of everyone’s contribution and willingness to help others in achieving the final goals. I have improved my engineering knowledge and skills to further my experience in a manufacturing and design environment.

I decided to pursue a career within the Project Planning industry as such I have achieved a better understanding on how Project Planners/ Schedulers deliver a job through an established baseline using the Primavera P3-P6.7 systems, probably one of the most critical phases of the project. It establishes a start and finish WBS giving a better picture of how the project is performing at any specific time. This has given me a better understanding of what a company needs to achieve to gain an end goal within a budget and to monitor earned value through the project duration.

 At present I am working within the Mining & O&G industry for Onshore and Offshore facilities plus the Subsea case studies /requirements to support these facilities within WA as a Senior – Lead Project Controls status, but also gained a wealth of experience whilst working for the major Blue chip companies within the UK such as BAE Systems and BNG (British Nuclear Group) within a Project Management Group

Throughout my working life I have been successful in promoting my career due to my enthusiasm, commitment and adaptability in the various disciplines and working environments/ industries. I have a proven track record as a stand-alone professional and as a committed team player with experience gained in the FEL gate Process and Pre-FEED – FEED phases within the Project controls environment. I have also been involved in HSE Development from Phase 1- Execute Phase within Primavera, Cost Estimating, Benchmarking, Risk and Procurement within the Project Controls / Management side of the business.

I have been successfully running my own Pty Ltd Company for the last 6 yrs within Australia and over 10+ yrs within the UK and as such I feel that my skill sets and knowledge would be of a great value to your company.
