Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

hi there, I have been an assistant planner for 3 years now on various main contractor projects from grade ii listed refurbs to 30 storey residential. I am relatively new to the industry being in my mid twenties which has granted me little experience in terms of money. Now that I have been in the industry a while I am wondering how much the average person of my position and level of experience is earning or should earn.? Some feedback would be great from an experienced planner.

You can get an idea of the market rates by the Jobs site in PP.

Alternatively just google Junior Planning Jobs and see the whole range.

If you register with something like Indeed or JobisJob then you will get aregular update of what the industry is offering.
