Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hey all,,,
Often times i’m faced by a request to prepare engineering schedules:
1)Shop Drawing submittal Approval;
2)Construction Material/Equippment Procuremt and Delivery and Sub/Contractor (Vendor)
3)Submittal/Approval/Delivery including LLI procurement and delivery

the trick is,,, in order for the schedule to be useful and logical in my openion,,, these submittals ,must not only be coordinated with construction activites and based on them,,, they should also be coordinated between each other,,, like u have to approve a shopdrawing in order to be able to make a suitable material selection!!!

yet... often time i end up lost in relations... and not quiet satisfied or sure about the outcome....

can anyone guide...

thank you in advance...

thank you both Andrew and Anoon,,,

i wouldn’t agree more,,, but in my case,,, i have to do it myself,,, i have a culture to change their way of thinking,,, and it would do me great help if i do it myself,,, and do it right,,, or close at least,,, this way i can gain their trust and they can see the results,,,

i’m not asking for ABC’s just general tips and guidelines that apply for details,,, i’m doing it already,,, just need to fine tune and adjust to perfect it,,,

thank u again my men,,,

Anoon is right. You have to ask the personnel. This is part of Project Mgmt unless you have experiences and can dictate the process.

for items (1) to (3), you’ll need a team to do this, you can never do this alone! (personal relations is crucial in this condition)

just analyze before you decide..
