Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello

I am trying to put together a global change formula that allows me to reduce the remaining duration of activities by a prescribed number of days (in this case the reporting period)

This formula needs to also recognise that any remaining duration needs to have a bare minimum of 1 day.

Basically I have a large schedule that would benefit from this ‘quick fix’ global change after the data date has moved to the right, save me having to go through activities line by line making manual adjustments.

I did used to have this handy formula written down but I can’t find it :-(

Any help?

Many thanks

Hi Danny,

Normally, you need to filter the activities that you want to change globaly, for example:

Where "activities status" equals "not started" then "remaining duration" equals "remaining duration" minus(-) 2days

Good luck!
