Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

P6 Filtering by WBS Error

Has anyone come across a "WBS filtering glitch" wherby an error pops up as per below.

WBS does not contain any characters other than numbers and letters so the error should not be occurring?

The error seems to have started up since installing the new service pack for P6.  Any ideas or feedback of similar issues would be appreciated.

Hi Julian,

This is an application bug and If you are using P6V7 then you you need to install P6v7 Service Pack 3 and after that there is a Hotfix available for SP3 which specifically takes care of this bug. I got it resolved by installing that Hotfix.
