Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Guys; I need your help to solve this issue we had today in the schedule we are building on Latest version of P6. We have Loaded Budgeted hours in all WBS Type activity for every Unit and Discipline. We are doing it simultaneously 3 schedulers on the same project file due to the big size of the schedule about 8500 activities. and aprox 1500 WBS Type (Resource loaded), well, after all hitting F5 and F9 many resources (hours) were lost in some activities and total amount of hours by level decreased as well as we lost totally to "0" some of the activity resources... loaded.
Have you ever experienced this? Do any of you have any idea what’s going on? any setting problem? etc?

Regina,
P6 should warned the user that others work will not be save when running schedule F9 if other users are on the same file open. They should exit first so all data will be synchronize before scheduling the project. F5 will refresh screen and database for data already synchronize or saved but if the last user haven’t run F5 and run the schedule then all other works will be gone and P6 will use users cache data to synchronize from the database when running schedule.
