Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

MSP TO P6 NOT IMPORTING

Dear Guys,

i have a microsoft project file (2010.MPP) file.
when i am trying to import it in the P6 there are only 2 file ext types in p3 section that is .xml and .mpx.
so there is no .mpp extension.
so how to open this file guys...

You need to have MS Project installed on the same machine in order to import MSP. Who ever gave you MSProject (2010) ask him to save it as xml file so you import it to P6.

Note: P6 support only MSProject 2003 otherwise it will produce some error even manage to convert but majority failed.
