Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Adding notebooks to multiple activities in P6.2

Guys,
I have inherited a project with about 1400 activities and none of them have notebooks attached to them. Since one of my reports keys on the presence of a notebook attached to an activity, I need to add one to each of them.
Does anyone know if there is a way to add a notebook to multiple activities at once, rather than the one-at-a-time click and confirm method?

Any help is always appreciated!

Eric,

Select one activity and assign the notebook topic and before closing popup window select multiple activities by using ’CTRL’ key of keyboard and then assign the topic and it will go to all activities.

Just keep ’Assign Notebook topic’ popup window up and select the activities and hit the topic.
