Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

OD & RD Equal Zero When Converting from P6 to P3 (????)

My issue is that when I am using P6 and converting to P3 the OD & RD become zero in the P3 version of the schedule.

Here are my settings:
-All tasks = physical % Complete
-Drive Activities Dates by Default = unchecked
-Duration Type = Fixed Duration & Units\Time
-All units are zeroed out
-Recalculate Actual Units & Cost when Duration % complete changes = unchecked
-Link Budget & At Completion for not Started Activities = Checked
-Reset Remaining Duration & Units to Original = Checked.
-All activities = Task Dependent.

By the way, this schedule was originally a conversion from P3 that went to P6 and is now going back to P3.

Any clues?

Ben you are not an idiot you caught the problem and solved it. I believe that during the conversion dirve activity dates by default was checked in p6 and this make the resource in p3 a driving resource.

Disregard because I am an idiot. In the Assignments window, each assignment needed to have the Resource Driving box unchecked. Problem solved.
