Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

PROJECT FINISHED DATE NOT CHANGING.

HI -ALL

I AM UPDATING MY PROJECT SCHED.IN P6

SOME ACTIVITY HAS STARTED BEFORE TIME.

WHER I HAVE GIVE THEM START DATE AND % COMPLT. REMAINING DURATION ETC..

HOWEVER AFTER PRESS F9 PROJECT FINSHED DATE STILL SAME AS BL SCHED.

This is valid reply from you in my schedule all updated activity are not critical thats why finished date of project not reflecting.

Hi Shazad

Your project completion date will only change if an activity in the critical path changes.
You can have a delivery or future event dictating the completion date of your project, and if so, you can commence all the activities aerlier that you want to, but the critical path will remain unchanged.
