Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Raviraj,

Get your IT specialists to restore the database from your last back-up to a different location (Create a new Database instance). Map your P6.1 application to connect with that database & then log in & open the project that you deleted. Once you have done this, export out the project as a XER file to your desktop (File, Export, then follow the wizards prompts)

Once you have done this log into your current database and import the project in. This will only work if your backing up your database though.

Hi,

I had gone to File --> Import, but it doesn’t show anything by which I can recover any deleted project. I m using P6.1

Is that limited to P5???

Cheers,

Ravi

It will restore the entire database if you do this, and will revert ALL projects to the last backup status.

You can ask your administrator to restore the last backup of that project.

Hi Yusuke Kamui

The only way is to re-import it by using import function , go to file, select import and follow the wizard.

Have a nice day.
